OUR STORY
We are a family owned and operated recreational cannabis store in Anchorage, Alaska. Opening our doors in 2017, we were one of the first retails shops in Anchorage! We view ourselves as stewards of the cannabis industry, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

As a shop, we hold a strong belief in the positive, healing properties of cannabis.

We are located in the heart of Spenard, on the corner of 26th and Spenard Rd. We are across the street from the white windmill at Koots, and in the same strip mall as Organic Oasis and Anchorage Cycle.

Originally from Oregon, Ben spent many years in North Carolina before finding his way to California and now to Alaska! He loves playing jazz, being outdoors, problem solving, and working with cannabis. Over the years he has developed a passion for slacklining, home renovation, and cooking. He spends most of his free time with his girlfriend and dogs finding places to explore!

Matt was born and raised in Georgia and moved to Alaska in 2022. He has worked in the kitchen and restaurant industry for over decade and moved to into the legal cannabis industry a little over 2 years ago. He enjoys playing video games, watching movies, and hiking from time to time.

Dominique was raised in both California and Alaska. She decided to work in the cannabis industry after attending UAA for her Entrepreneurship degree.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids, cooking amazing food, going on adventures around AK, and road trips with good laughs and good music.
Winston

Winston was born and raised in Ketchikan, AK. He loves music, rock climbing, yoga, and running, but his new favorite exercise is jump rope - and he's a bad ass at it. He's multifaceted in the music world. He sings, and plays the piano, guitar, and bass. He makes epic salads and even better tacos.

Raised on a family farm in northeast Colorado, Chad gained priceless experience working the land. He truly found his green thumb when he started cultivating cannabis. After a long and arduous journey, he has found himself aligned with Enlighten Alaska. When not entangled by plants, you’ll find Chad somewhere outdoors, with his dogs or perhaps in the kitchen whipping up a tasty meal.
Leah
POSITION: Co-Owner

Leah is a yoga teacher, a dog momma, a tiny human momma, and loves to get outside and adventure! Her big personality lights up any room and she keeps our shop running smoothly and efficiently. She graduated from UAA with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.
Jane
POSITION: Co-Owner

Jane is the shop momma. She loves making edibles, golfing, knitting, and being with her dogs and family. She is a talented gardener, both of cannabis and flowers. Her backyard is full of beautiful flowers and she keeps the shop full of life with plants.​

Evan's heart is in the cultivation side of the business. He loves being in the garden and growing cannabis. He enjoys spending time with his wife, his young son and daughter, fishing with his older son, and chasing around his jack russell terrier, Milo.
